Beauty.com is a big online destination for beauty products and sister site to Drugstore.com. The brand was in need of a refresh and the online flagship, in need of a major overhaul. The logo was redesigned to look fresh and modern. The photography direction created content with a look and feel that was truly ownable. We helped to make Beauty.com not only a destination for the best beauty products, but a place to explore helpful tips & tricks and discover curated product recommendations in a way that felt uncluttered and elevated.
Creating A Balance
While Beauty.com is a very curated selection of Beauty products, the retailer has thousands of products available and many promotions running at a time. The challenge was to find the right balance between promotion and content that would inspire and delight. We accomplished that by showing the products as large as possible to elevate the look of them and by directing and adding inspiring beauty photography to all areas of the site.
